What is a Mezuzah?
 

The mezuzah must be hand-written by a competent ritual scribe on specially prepared parchment with the specific types of quill and ink mandated by tradition.

 

The Mezuzah brings G‑d’s protection upon all the members of the household, even when they are outside the home. And these are certainly times when we would like to increase G‑d’s protection.
