Who We Are
Rabbi Sruli Steiner
Co - Director
Rabbi Sruli was born and raised in Thornhill, he furthered his Jewish studies in Buenos Aires, New York and Jerusalem, always focusing on the individual Jew and their power to change the world.
In 2019, he and Chomi moved to town to create a warm place for young Jews to experience authentic and exciting Judaism - Chabad style. Sruli can often be found Starbucks-ing, one on one chats, learning sessions and just chilling with a friend in his pass time.
Chomi Steiner
Co - Director
Chomi “Viene de Buenos Aires, Argentina”! Where she grew up in a family dedicated to community-- She furthered her studies in Israel, and then landed in Brooklyn where she met Sruli. Chomi's an awesome graphic designer, loves to cook, meet new people, and being a mom to Leah, Menny, Aaron and Meir.

Leah (6) Menny (5) Aaron (2) and Meir (>1) are a key element to Uptown Chabad Young Professionals development and future. With strong social skills and planning techniques, these 3 make each work meeting organized and predictable, so timelines and goals are met with efficiency. Their charm and cuteness bring life and meaning to the whole community.
